My 2 cents on the recent Supreme Court decision on the Arizona immigration law;
First I agree completely with the decision, the 3 portions that were struck down are completely in the purview of the federal government and as such state does not have the right to enforce them. As for the one they upheld anyone who is stopped the police have the right to ask for identification as well as other pertinent documentation (ex. license, registration, and proof of insurance). Now my one big pert peeve terms people use such as undocumented residents or unauthorized residents ... they are illegal aliens. If we use this for other criminals lets say;
thieves are non-paying customers
drug dealers are unauthorized pharmacists
murderers are early life terminators
